Since 1982 I have provided legal services of a quality usually associated with large firms servicing large corporate clients. After graduating with honors from Stanford Law School and clerking for a federal judge, I started my legal career with a major San Francisco firm. Now, 32 years later, I can offer clients a depth of experience and expertise in real estate and business law, coupled with personalized attention, that would be difficult to better at a firm of any size. The matters my team and I commonly handle involve issues such as breach of contract and fraud, construction, purchase and sale agreements, nondisclosures in real estate transactions, negligence and breach of fiduciary duty, elder abuse, commission payments, easements, and property lines. We are experienced in resolving disputes at every level, from negotiation, to mediation or arbitration, and to full-blown litigation in state and federal courts. We practice extensively in Marin County and San Francisco, and also in Sonoma and other counties in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our goal is always to resolve matters in the most efficient and effective manner possible, consistent with our client’s needs. We also routinely assist clients in preparing agreements, such as real estate purchase agreements and leases. Whenever I identify legal issues where I don’t believe we have appropriate expertise, I take pride in being able to refer clients to those lawyers who do.
